Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chicago follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Food was fantastic. Maybe the best meal we have had this summer. We tried the tasting menu for two for our first visit. However, the food was not even the best part. The service was amazing. Christian explained everything with pride and knowledge adding a familiarity to the experience that was unexpected and beyond expectations. I also agree with other reviewers that the in house made mango cheesecake is a dessert worth trying.

Food was extremely flavorful and delicious! The service is friendly. The papadum is out of this world, my favorite of all time. Our server Cristian was very attentive and provided us with great recommendations. 10/10 would recommend!

Food was good and taste fresh. Service is great. We were seated immediately. I like the ambiance of the restaurant. Although we can hear conversations of neighbor diners and can be quite loud. One comment i have is the chicken chunks in the Tiikka masala is cut too large and the inside is a little on the dry side. Sauce is rich but good. Good portion size for the price. Prices of food were fine. Overall recommended!

This was my first Restaurant Week experience, and Tandoor absolutely set the bar high. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance and staff were incredibly welcoming. The food portions were hugeβwe happily took plenty home! One of the highlights was the chef coming out personally to serve us and share the origins of his family recipes. It truly felt like eating at a friendβs house, but with an upscale touch. The Dubai chocolate cake and falooda were insanely rich and indulgentβsuch a perfect way to end the meal. You can really feel the care and pride behind everything they do here. I highly recommend this family-owned restaurant and will definitely be back. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

The worst food ever - uncooked and stale. We ordered the following from Uber Eats: 1. Tandoori chicken boti (bland, but edible) 2. Chicken tikka masala (no spices, no flavor, just plain orange sauce curry - chicken was raw/uncooked). There was a hole in the lid to let off the heat, but it actually resulted in a lot of spillage. There are other better ways of packing hot food vs punching holes in the lid! 3. Chapathi - all uncooked 4. Lamb Biryani - rice was uncooked and smelly as if they were not washed prior to cooking. Lamb also was uncooked. This was an Uber Eats order, so it became a nightmare to get the money back. When I contacted the restaurant and spoke with Faraz, the Chef, and he simply refused to acknowledge the issue. He was adamant that he checks and tastes each and every item, but that doesn't seem to be case. The photos on the Uber Eats app and elsewhere are all misleading - food looks attractive, but what you see is NOT what you get. Not sure how this restaurant has managed to get such high ratings/reviews. RESPONSE TO CHEF FARAZ'S COMMENT: 1. Using any of the food delivery services like Uber Eats doesn't alter the quality of the food - rice doesn't go from being
